The Wayne County Transportation System is seeking applicants for employment as Van Drivers. ALL Van Driver positions are Part Time. Starting wage is $9.37 per hour with part time county benefits available. Applicants with a CDL license start at $9.79 per hour. Applicants must have one year's driving experience, other than their own vehicle. A civil service application and supplement for Van Driver are required. Wayne County Correctional Facility is now accepting applications for Corrections Officers. Applicants will be hired on a Part-time basis with many full-time opportunities after training and probationary periods are complete. Computer and communication skills are required. Applications can be obtained from the Commissioner’s office, 3rd Floor, Wayne County Courthouse or at the Prison, 44 Mid-Wayne Drive, Texas Twp., during normal business hours.
